In June, the four old shareholders leave the company. In July, Stephan Blanke and Markus Röhrs are appointed as the new shareholders.
2021
In January, Markus Röhrs is hired as assistant to the management.
2020
In July, the decision is made to further expand the management with a view to the future.
2019
Louverlux Skandia GmbH acquires the remaining shares in Alkucell-Deckenelemente GmbH and becomes the owner of the company.
Alkucell becomes part of Louverlux Skandia GmbH in the same year.
2012
In January, the foundation stone is laid to successfully position both companies on the market in the future. The fusion of the two companies creates Louverlux Skandia GmbH. With a view to future-oriented development, the current Managing Director Stephan Blanke is appointed as an authorized signatory.
The production facility in Frankfurt am Main is closed and relocated to Dorfmark. A sales office is opened in Frankfurt.
2007
Wolfgang Fiedler and Christian Harder from Louverlux GmbH in Frankfurt and Burkhard Rose and Dieter Kaschner from Skandia Plastic GmbH in Dorfmark buy the shares in Skandia Plastic GmbH from the parent company Andrén and Söhner in Sweden.
Louverlux GmbH is a long-standing customer and a friendly company of Skandia Plastic GmbH.
1984
In order to be able to produce additional aluminum light louvers, the first aluminum punching press is manufactured in-house. The production of aluminum light louvers opens up new customer groups in the fields of trade fair construction, drywall construction, ceiling installation, etc.
Due to increasing demand from new customers for acrylic glass stands, displays, covers, etc., a further production area is created – acrylic glass processing.
1980
The Swedish managing director retires, Dieter Kaschner becomes the new managing director.
The company Alkucell-Deckenelemente GmbH is founded as a 50% subsidiary of Skandia Plastic GmbH. It produces special honeycomb louvers made of aluminum, which are mainly used in the lighting industry.
1976
In January, Skandia Plastic GmbH relocates to Dorfmark in the halls of the Ohlau company. At the same time, Dieter Kaschner is hired.
Through the presentation of our products at the annual Hanover Trade Fair ”World and Light Show”, Skandia Plastic GmbH gains a large circle of customers in other European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
The plastic louvers produced in Sweden are made to standard dimensions or to the customer’s desired size.
1974
The Swedish Plastic + wood trade group founds the subsidiary Skandia Plastic GmbH in Düsseldorf. The company’s task is to sell and distribute the plastic louvers produced by the parent company.
